CATALOGUE DESCRIPTION
Deciduous climber. Beautiful large showy velvety violet purple flowers with reddish purple anthers. Flowers late summer. They flower on last season's growth, so prune only the dead and weak stems out in late winter. Best planted with the roots in shade. Great twining through trees.
